John Calipari is cleaning out his office and home, and he wants the Big Blue Nation and charity to benefit from it.
Starting today, Coach Cal is going to auction off at least one piece of signed memorabilia a month online. The full proceeds from each auction will go straight to his foundation, The Calipari Foundation.
The first two items are a pair of signed surfboards.
The first one, which you can place a bid on here, is from Kentucky’s participation in the 2010 EA Sports Maui Invitational. The board is made by Timpone.
The second surfboard, which you can bid for here, is a custom made UK surfboard painted in Kentucky blue and white. The board features one of Coach Cal’s favorite quotes: “We’re chasing greatness.” The surfboard is by Hansen Cardiff.
Both of this month’s auctions will last exactly five days. They are scheduled to close Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
